Alexander Achberger, Ph.D.
I am a postdoctoral researcher at VISUS (Visualization Research Center, University of Stuttgart), specializing in haptic feedback in Virtual Reality (VR). I completed my doctoral studies within the framework of an industry-academic collaboration with Mercedes-Benz AG and VISUS. During this period, I explored the integration of haptic feedback research into practical applications.
My research involved the development of new haptic feedback devices tailored for automotive engineering VR tasks. I delved into the challenges of integrating these devices into the daily workflow of engineers. Currently, my focus extends beyond automotive engineering, encompassing other domains such as the entertainment industry.
In addition to haptic feedback, my research interests include general human-computer interaction, VR, and AR.
