Cristina Morariu studied computer science with a focus on "Scientific Computing" (bachelor) at the University of Vienna and followed by a master degree specializing in "Operational Research with Data Science" at the University of Edinburgh. Her focus lied on visual perception and dimensionality reduction. Due to personal reasons, Cristina had to leave VISUS in 2022. She is now working as a data scientist at Amazon in London.
